So yeah, I had a fun night tonight…
1) the power cut out at one point, leading to much frantic unplugging and replugging. It was fixed, but for a minute or so, I was quite the bundle of nerves. (To put it mildly.) However, having punters spontaneously break into a singalong of ‘Hey Baby’ (“ooh, ah, I wanna know…”) made the experience worth it, in a weird way.
2) People are officially over that damned Katy Perry song. You know the one I mean. That said, people kept asking me for ‘Poker Face’ by Lady Gaga every fifteen minutes or so. Hello new flavor of the month!
