Random Digressions
I'm Brent, a male in his early thirties. In a former life, I was a DJ; now I blog and make mashups. 2010 will be my year.

KEEP ROLLIN’ ROLLIN’ ROLLIN’

My Top 5 Artists (Week Ending 2010-2-7)

Ronan Keating - Life Is A Rollercoaster

Dorky as all get out, but still one of my favourite purely ‘pop’ songs. Gregg Alexander was a songwriting genius.

sweetlyhaggard:

Marieke Hardy, Triple J breakfast co-host, blogger, First Tuesday Book Club panellist, screenwriter and all-around multi-talented, witty, beautiful woman.

*sigh* Don’t mind me, just daydreaming.

Nadja Auermann, Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford & Stephanie Seymour by Richard Avedon for Versace’s Fall 1994 Campaign (via Fashion Gone Rouge)

Dear God, if I’d known this existed in 1994, this would’ve gone straight on my 17-year-old self’s bedroom wall.

Like so much of the Simpsons oevure, quotes and dialogue from the show became running jokes in passim in my household. My sister became fond of quoting that brief sequence with cut-rate horror flick hostess Boobirella (“Come back after the break, where you’ll see more of my BOOBS!”), and I had to explain to her that was, in fact, based on a ‘real’ person: Elvira, Mistress Of The Dark (aka Cassandra Petersen). She thought that the writers had made up the character from whole cloth.
See, kids? Comics are educational!

Oh… :(
This is just taking that whole ‘put zombies in public domain works’ trend just a smidge far.
